Important Policy Reminder, Games of Chance on Social Media

Social media is a game-changer when it comes to reaching a broader base, and we continue to be impressed by the creative ways many of you are leveraging this platform to build your business. We encourage you to continue working hard at increasing engagement, furthering your influence, and building stronger relationships with your followers in legitimate ways. However, it has come to our attention recently that several Brand Affiliates are conducting giveaways, raffles, and other contests through their social media pages that are not allowed to promote the Nu Skin products and opportunity. 

Games of chance (including raffles, giveaways, and contests) are highly regulated by state and federal governments and go against the policies of many social media platforms. Given the complexity of the issue and possible risk to Nu Skin, contests, sweepstakes, etc. are strictly prohibited within public and private groups and should be taken down promptly. 

As an alternative to games of chance, we suggest taking advantage of referral posts. Those are not only allowed but can be incredibly effective. Posting about giving away a free tube of toothpaste for each referral is one example.
